Lucid Dream Ssild Tips

Hi, I've been trying SSILD for the past week, have got vivid dreams but not a ld yet, so I ask this: during SSILD, should I talk to myself like say' focus on my sight. hearing,etc in my head as well during the duration with eyes closed, I find it difficult to focus on sound with my eyes closed as I shift to focusing on sight, what's the best way to overcome this?
